One said, "Damn it. He's not going to mention the "I'll see you at the World Series" story. The farther I got in the posting, the louder that voice got. The other voice said calmly, "Wait for it. Wait for it. Its coming." And then, as if out of no where, Kablamo! There it was! What should now be forever known as the "Seat 106 - I'll See You At the World Series" Curse. Though it turns out the "do nothing" approach is actually the defining characteristic of Dusty's managerial style, so in hindsight, I guess I can't be too surprised.SixRowBrewCohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15384682912021974745noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-250683060520895629.post-39642441294729522242009-04-22T14:40:00.000-05:002009-04-22T14:40:00.000-05:00Those of us in Aisle 424 pleaded for Dusty to get ...Those of us in Aisle 424 pleaded for Dusty to get Farnsworth up in the bullpen - just in case. Prior looked gassed to start that inning. I was in SRO all the way back down the leftfield line. I was yelling: "get somebody up". Nada. I still can't believe Dusty didn't have the bullpen going.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
